We Offer EnvironAir Air Purification Units The Carroll pollution control unit, trademarked EnvironAir® Air Purification Unit (APU), utilizes a three-stage filter system to eliminate particulate grease and smoke from the exhaust air stream. Optionally available is an odor removal module that, through the use of odor media trays or a liquid odor spray cabinet, effectively controls the malodors produced by commercial kitchen cooking. Carroll has a longer history in designing and engineering these type units than any other manufacturer, having first developed pollution control units in the mid-1970’s.Carroll has steadily improved and refined the EnvironAir® APU over the past 25 years. Today, the EnvironAir® APU offers the foodservice operator the most efficient and economical pollution control equipment on the market. Additionally, the EnvironAir® APU system has been engineered to operate with all Carroll series ventilators in order to provide the optimum in filter life. The EnvironAir® APU is available in models to cover any CFM range between 500 and 40,000. All EnvironAir® APU models are UL and ULC Listed and meet all requirements of NFPA 96, the local authority having jurisdiction and national building codes.
